Your Guide to Downtown Grand Junction

Grand Junction is a beautiful city with a lot to see and do in the nature surrounding it. But what attractions are in the city itself? That’s what we’d love to cover here.

At Castle Creek Manor, you’re just a short drive away from the downtown area, which makes it easy to do everything we’re about to mention in this article. We’ll cover attractions, shop-portunities, and popular restaurants so you can feel ready to explore the city.

  • 18 Hole: $20
  • 9 Hole Cart: $12
  • 18 Hole Cart: $15

Bananas Fun Park

Address: 655 Struthers Ave, Grand Junction, CO

Hours: 9AM - 4PM

Discover beautifully-manicured gardens in the heart of Grand Junction. You’ll probably see some plants you wouldn’t expect growing in this part of Colorado. Another major thing to do is enter the butterfly garden, where dozens of species of these gorgeous insects thrive on the flowers inside. This should be a must-do activity for anyone visiting Colorado.

The Avalon Theatre

Address: 645 Main St, Grand Junction, CO

Catch a show at the historic Avalon Theatre here in the downtown area. While it ain’t much to look at, the music hall offers excellent acoustics and the décor makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a time machine. Check out the upcoming calendar and see if it works with your schedule.
