Western Colorado Dragway is a non-profit and family-friendly organization dedicated to drag racing and good sportsmanship. 


This standard asphalt race track is primarily used for the cars and standard street vehicles. Spectators will be able to see an impressive lineup of cars and motorcycles depending on the race you attend.

Grand Junction Motor Speedway

While some race tracks allow you to watch a race, the Grand Junction Motor Speedway allows you to hop in a cart for yourself. Ride around this intense race track, and if you’re good enough you can qualify to race in the higher-speed races. It’s a fun time no matter who you are with, and two people can ride in some of these karts together.

BMX (Bicycle Motocross Racing) at Grand Valley BMX is open to anyone and everyone who can ride a bike. Races are held each Sunday afternoon all year round as long as the weather cooperates. This is a great place to visit since spectators can watch the races free of charge. 


If you’re interested in trying your hand, all you have to do is show up wearing long sleeves, long pants, and closed toed shoes. Even if you don’t have a bike or a helmet, Grand Valley BMX has rental options available.
